Stuff You Need - FREE!!!
Just thought I would share some of the great programs that are out there for the taking. These completely free (not shareware or trialware) programs are big time and headache savers and the price could not be better! Enjoy!
Want to hide your IP address? No need for high priced "anonymizer services". Instead, use TOR Endorsed by the Electronic Frontier Foundation and completely FREE, TOR is a great tool to have when you want to surf anonymously.
To use TOR, you need a browser that supports it. The best is Firefox. Once you download and install Firefox, you can install TOR. Once you do, you will have a nifty "TOR Button" in the browser window. To use TOR, simply toggle the button on or off.
Still paying for firewall and virus protection? You don't have to! Award winning Comodo Internet Security is awesome and FREE!!!
While at the Comodo site, check out their other free offers such as free Secure Email and a Free Email Security Certificate.
All of that data on your disc needs protecting, too! You can look far and wide but you will not find a better tool for encrypting your data than TrueCrypt. Open source and completely FREE, it is a must have to keep even the most determined snoopers out of your stuff!!!
